Spider Flower

Every kitty needs to be pampered! It is hard work loving you as much as they do.

The Spider is a unique piece of Cat Furniture that is small enough to fit anywhere and still be the focalpoint of your cat’s activity. The unit is reversible, and regardless of which way you have it setting, the center area is padded and lined with our special thermal liner for added cat comfort. Cats love to crawl between the petals to get under the flower where they can discover a secret space for rest and relaxation, or to do some heavy thinking like “what am I going to do next?”. This piece of Cat Furniture is ideal for older cats who may not like to climb as much as they use to, or for the smallest of kittens who are just starting to discover the world.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cat Trees

How do I know my cat will use your Cat Tree?
     Being a naturally curious animal your cat will not be able to stay away.  They must investigate on their own terms however, so don’t force your cat to use the Cat Tree.  Their interest is going to be piqued by having something new in the house, and they can’t help not to investigate.  The material we use is pleasing to the cat so once they experience it they receive a positive reinforcement and will continue their investigation and eventually take “ownership” of the Cat Tree.  

Cat Furniture is expensive, how can I be sure of getting a quality product?
     Our Cat Trees are designed and built by Cat lovers.  We use only be highest quality materials throughout, and build-in some very unique features.  First, all leaves are attached with a special bracket that allows “flex” when the cat climbs or jumps on the tree.  This “flex” takes the shock away from both the cat’s joints and back extending the youthful life of your cat.  This feature also allows older cats to get more use out of the Cat Tree.  All platforms and leaves have an extra layer of padding that are constructed with a “thermal” layer to retain the cat’s body heat making the area more comfortable for all cats.  The extra wide base on all our Cat Trees prevent tipping under normal use.  

Is there a “right” Cat Tree for my cat(s)?
       You can usually match the Cat Tree design to the personality and activity level of your cat.  If your cat likes to sleep or play in enclosed areas you best select a Cat Tree that has openings in the trunk.  If your cat scratches vertically be sure to select a Cat Tree with the “red” cat paw in the description because it will have upgraded materials. If your cat likes to snuggle in small objects or curls up in the corner of a favorite piece of furniture you need a Cat Tree with “sculptured” leaves and a top platform large enough to allow for this cat inactivity.  And of course, if you have multiple cats, be sure to pick one of our larger trees that will accommodate different personalities and activity levels in a single unit. 
 

 

 How can I extend the life of the Cat Tree?
     Even though we use only the highest quality material, it is possible your cat will wear out part of the Cat Tree after extensive use.  The way we build our Cat Tree allows you to easily replace any worn out part.  This protects your investment and allows you to keep the Cat Tree looking its best.  The top platform and the bottom base are built so that they screw onto the trunk.  The leaves are attached with a special bracket and are easily interchangeable with the use of a simple wrench.

     This interchangeability not only allows you to keep your Cat Tree looking good and extend its useful life, it also gives you the flexibility in the event you want to change the color scheme of the Cat Tree to fit the changing décor of your home.  You now have the ability to economically do this without replacing the entire Cat Tree.

Can my declawed and older cats climb your tree?
     Yes, it’s easy for your cat to step from level to level whether going up or down without the need to climb.  We recommend which of our Cat Trees are better for declawed cats by putting the “blue” cat paw on the tree description.

This Cat Tree we call the "Little Oak" and its almost the spitting image of the "Big Oak". It's made of the same quality materials and workmanship as its bigger brother, but its just two feet shorter. This Cat Tree still provides multi-level climbing layers, several scratching areas, and plenty of resting space. The number of large leaves is the same in both units (four).
