We offer only the finest products, made from natural and human-grade ingredients. We believe in, and we will always fight for kind and gentle treatment of all animals. We strongly support organizations that fight cruelty to animals. To the best of our knowledge any products that use or endorse does not participate in animal testing in their manufacturing. There is no need to search all over the internet for different varieties of healthy treats. You will find all of the best here! Our story

We founded the Bubba Rose Biscuit Company in 2006 out of our desire to provide healthy, preservative-free dog treats; made with organic and natural ingredients and free of wheat, corn and soy. All our treats are handmade in small batches in our bakery in NJ using locally sourced human-grade ingredients from the U.S. All of our meats & eggs are free-range, grain and/or grass fed, contain no added hormones or antibiotics and are nitrite free. Our products are free of chemicals, sugar, salt, artificial flavors, colors and fillers. Just key ingredients for great tasting treats. We support rescue and adoption agencies and shelters nationwide by raising money and awareness, and donating treats in honor of our pack of rescued pups. Canine Snack Shack

About Canine Snack Shack: We started baking these cookies because of our Black Lab, Shadow.
He loved being in the kitchen, sitting and drooling every time a fresh batch of cookies came out of the oven. I have to confess his favorites were the sweet and sour riblets.

Unfortunately he passed on in May 2005, but we continue to bake in his memory. Canine Snack Shack cookies are made with human grade ingredients. We enjoy what we do and we would like to share our cookies with you and your four legged friend.

When we set out to make the best dog treats, we knew the key was to use premium ingredients and innovative recipes. That's why our ingredients include things like whole grains, USDA prime meat, peanut butter, canola oil, carrots, tomatoes, carob, garlic, parsley, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, honey, oats, wheat germ... healthy and all-natural ingredients... food you'd feel terrific about eating yourself. We strictly do not add any sugar, salt, artificial colorings, or preservatives in our recipes. Some of our treats are naturally sweetened with a touch of honey or pure maple syrup, but are never used in large amounts. Good nutrition not only helps your dog feel his best, live longer and perform to his optimum level, but it also makes him look good too

MEAT - As carnivores, dogs depend on meat as an essential feature of their diet. We are proud to use real USDA prime meat in our Savory treats. We do not use any meat by-products or natural meat flavorings or meat broth (canned broth contains salt and MSG!). The delicious meats we use are fresh lamb, beef liver, chicken liver, chicken meat, and last but not least bison meat. Bison meat is very flavorful and is one of the leanest meats available. Nutritionally, bison contains more protein and nutrients with fewer calories and less fat. They spend their lives on grass and are not subjected to questionable drugs, chemicals or hormones. At Buttercup's PAW-tisserie, we believe in balancing our meat treats with yummy and nutritious vegetables so that your pooch gets the best of both worlds.

TOMATOES are an excellent source of soluble fiber and are packed full of nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin A, and lycopene. Lycopene is a naturally occurring antioxidant that helps to counteract the harmful effects of substances called "free radicals" and helps protect against diseases such as cancer and heart disease. However, be sure to keep your dog away from tomato leaves and stems as they can be toxic.

GARLIC acts as a natural antibiotic, boosts the immune system, regulates digestion, and is a detoxifier. It is an excellent supplement to give to dogs with immune problems, digestive upsets, or recurrent infections. Garlic appears to be a very safe herbal remedy - stimulates liver function, flushes out toxins, reduces free radicals that can cause cancer and can lower high blood pressure. Garlic also acts as a natural flea preventative. We use freshly minced garlic when possible as well as garlic powder.

PEANUTS/PEANUT BUTTER - Although commonly thought of as a nut, peanuts are actually legumes and belong to the same family as the bean and pea. The peanut is the seed of a plant believed to have originated in South America, although some sources believe it was China. Today, in the United States, peanuts are primarily grown in eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. George Washington Carver is considered by many to be the father of the peanut industry. He began his peanut research in 1903 and suggested to farmers that they rotate their cotton plants and cultivate peanuts. Peanut Butter in actuality does not contain any butter, but does contain at least 90% peanuts. Peanut butter is a good source of niacin and folic acid (they help convert food to energy) and a great source of vitamin E. It is also a super source of Biotin which is said to help repair thin, splitting nails and good for the coat. The peanut butter we use at the barkery is made up of 100% natural unsalted roasted peanuts!

PARSLEY is a natural cancer inhibitor and tonic. It helps boost the body's overall functioning and clears the bloodstream and liver of toxins. It also improves bad breath.

CARROTS are a root vegetable rich in vitamin A and potassium. They are healthy and naturally sweet and can be given to your dog raw or even better, you can give them the following treats which contain carrots. The carrots in these treats are either shredded or pureed and since they are cooked, they have higher levels of two antioxidants: beta-carotene and phenolic acids.

CANOLA OIL is a rapeseed oil coming from the Canola plant, which produces groups of yellow, four-petalled flowers. Canola is grown mostly in western Canada and the word canola stands for "Canadian" and "oil". Research has shown that the fatty acid composition of canola oil is most favorable in terms of health benefits. It has lowest levels of saturated fat (7% - bad type), high in monounsaturated fat (61%-good type), and about 22% in polyunsaturated fat (also good.) By giving canola to your canine you can help to increase circulation, reduce joint tenderness, and maintain a healthy immune system. Plus, it's terrific for maintaining healthy skin and coat.

CAROB comes from the pods/seeds of the carob tree which is a member of the legume (pea) family and it grows in Mediterranean areas. Carob has rightly been coined the healthy alternative to chocolate. Unlike chocolate, carob is low in fat and calories and free from the stimulants caffeine and theobromine which can be fatal to some dogs. Carob is 80% protein and contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and D. Carob contains as much vitamin B1 as asparagus, the same amount of niacin as lima beans, lentils or peas, and more vitamin A than eggplant, asparagus and beets. It is also high in calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and iron. So the next time Fido is on his best behavior, treat him to some carob. It's paw-lickin' tasty and healthy.
